K1 Electrical Contracting, Inc started out with Kyle Teplitsky working long hours in the field and doing everything he could to maximize his exposure to the electrical industry at a very early age.

Kyle began his electrical career in 2002 at 18 years old in the western suburbs of Chicago. He spent the first 11 years of his career working in the Chicago-land area. Kyle attended Associated Builders and Contractors from 2002 – 2006. While attending ABC Kyle competed in the ABC Craft Olympics. He won the Illinois competition in 2006 and competed in the National competition in Las Vegas. Kyle took his first electrical contractors licensing exam in 2004. This provided him with a license to pull permits for residential electrical contracting. Then in 2006, Kyle took his unrestricted electrical contractor’s exam.

Throughout his time in the Chicago-land area Kyle remained employed and was a Foreman for a company called Sleeth Electric. For 9 years he ran a crew of 5 guys completing projects as small as kitchen remodels, to large custom homes, commercial buildouts, etc. It was in 2013 that Kyle decided to move back to Omaha, Nebraska, put his roots back down, and begin his journey as an electrical contractor.

K1 Electrical Contracting filed articles of incorporation in 2014. From there the company slowly grew to what it is today. Starting with small residential remodels and service work to the large commercial electrical contracting projects we do today. We have worked very hard to build up our reputation to where it is today as a reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy company who has proven time and again that we can be called upon to take on both small and large projects and bring them in on time and on budget.

K1 Electrical Contracting has not been around as long as many companies in this area, but we assure you we are not going anywhere and plan to continue to grow and prosper.
